“Time to get crafty!” said Cheese. “Hey Dad! Can you cut some wood for me? I need to make another stool for my room.”

Dad looked at Cheese, “Don’t you mean that you want ME to make another stool for your room?” replied Dad.

“OK, that works too! That will save me some time. Thanks!” Cheese said smiling.

“Son, you are going to help me. Go get your gloves, goggles, and hearing protection. Safety first.” Instructed Dad.

“OK. I’m going to get some wood from the wood bin. I have to get a lotta pieces. This one has to be twice as high as my other one. I need it to reach certain books from the bookshelf.” Said Cheese.

He handed the pieces of wood to Dad and turned to leave the workshop.

Dad stopped him. “And where do you think you are going?”

Cheese pointed in the direction of the house. “Back in the there. When you start cutting, it’s gonna get messy and noisy. And I don’t like that.”

“Nope! That is not what we are going to do, son. You shouldn’t ask folks to do something for you, then leave them. Make sure that they are OK with you being gone for a while, if you need to leave.” Dad said.
