“Bro! It’s the middle of winter and we have shorts on! That’s crazy!” shouted Cheese.

“Calm down, bro. There was a giant snow and ice storm in Texas last week. We know that they can’t hear you from here, but be a little more considerate.” Said Mack.

“I don’t know what that means, but it sounds like it sucks to be in Texas right now. I wonder when their power is gonna come back on. Is it back on?” Cheese said.

“Don’t worry too much about them, guys. Power has been restored to most people and for the ones who are still without power, they’ve been provided lodging until it’s back on. God is really doin His thing!” said Mom.

“Speakin of doin his thing. I’m about to throw some meat on this grill. It’s too nice out not to fire it up. Mack, you wanna help me?” asked Dad.

“Will it burn me?” replied Mack. “The last time I helped grill, the heat from the coals almost burned my fingers off”

“That happened because you rushed to grab the charcoal chimney. This time we’ll use an oven mitt. That should protect your hand this time.” Explained Dad.

Mack smiled, “As long as I don’t get burned, let’s do it!”
