“Hey guys. Turn the TV off. We’re about to run to the home improvement store to pickup some builds and plants. It’s their Springfest and they have something for the whole family.“ announced Dad.

“Really? The build can be for you, Dad. I want to plant some okra and peppers.” said Cheese.

“I don’t think you get to pick, son. We get what we get and we don’t pitch a fit.” Dad said.

Mack laughed, “Nana says that! I’m ready to go when you are.”

“Cheese, go get your Mom.”

Dad drove the family up to the home improvement store. They were giving out the wooden builds and herbs, no veggies. On the way home, Dad picked up lunch.

“Sorry, Cheese. There were no okra and peppers, but we’ll put these herbs in the garden when we get home.” said Mom.

“You can put them in the garden, Mom. I’m going to do the wooden build.” Cheese said sadly.

Dad laughed, “Nope! That’s MY build. You said that I could have it earlier this morning.”

“No fair! I don’t get okra AND I don’t get to build. How about we trade, Dad? I’m kinda desperate over here.” said Cheese.
